Now let's talk about wallpaper! Wallpaper has been around since the beginning of time. You know that super ugly stuff that back in the day made you have to start from scratch because it was such a pain to get off your walls? Well not anymore, wallpaper has now evolved to a peel and stick that can be applied to just about anything. Yes, I know we love this.

Okay this lemon wallpaper! Imagine this, you are in your bright kitchen with this wainscoting and lemon wallpaper. Can you be anymore wholesome? This is one of my favorites, but not only can I see it in a kitchen. I can see it as an accent wall in the dinning area or even in a bathroom.
I saved my favorite one for last. If you know me, you know I am a lover of green tones. It is after all the color of 2022, but before it became such a popular color for home remodels how could you not just love a good green. This wallpaper is so classic and elegant and I love how its paired with brass and wainscoting in this photo. Im running to buy this one for myself.
What Prep Work is Needed Before Wallpapering?
Peel and stick wallpaper is going to adhere best to clean walls so it’s a good idea to give your walls and the top of your baseboards a quick wipe down with a microfiber cloth to remove any dust. You’ll also need to remove outlet and switch covers and move furniture out of the way. Next you’ll want to plan the layout of your wallpaper. For accent walls, measure the length of your wall and divide it by the width of your wallpaper to determine how many strips of wallpaper it will take. Before you begin, note that peel-and-stick wallpaper typically adheres best to walls with a smooth texture and an eggshell, satin, or semi-gloss finish.
